Travel, foreign cultures, fascinating people, gemstones and jewelry formed many of my earliest childhood memories. Visiting the Native American Indian reservations with five gallon buckets of turquoise trading with the Indians, journeys to the high Andes to procure some of the finest wool tapestries and pottery made by the native Peruvian artisans while listening to their flute music echo through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, or traveling to Italy to purchase some of the finest coral from behind guarded locked security doors punctuated my childhood as I grew up in the American Southwest in a family owned business selling Native American Jewelry and Art. The moments of negotiation, cultural experiences surrounding the purchases, and the genuine beauty of these miracles mined from the center of our earth have always fascinated me. These experiences are what bring my soul to life and where I find I am truly in the flow.
Life has taken me on a wonderful journey around the world in the healing art and science of medicine as an emergency physician. My spiritual journey has taught me that I have to honor those experiences and passions that bring my soul to life. As I am able to carve out more time for the creative process, I recognize how important it is for the empowered woman to pursue her dreams, follow the inner nudging of her heart, and pursue her passions for living a full life of wellness and joy.
May the jewelry I create bless your life with the same richness I have experienced throughout my life, and may your special pieces journey into a lifetime of magical memories. It is my hope that you find joy in savoring the natural beauty of every stone, the richness of their natural colors, the artisan’s imagination and hands, and the authenticity and generosity of the earth to gift us with such beautiful miracles. These gemstones have been procured over my lifetime carefully choosing each and every stone individually for its uniqueness and natural beauty. I have a discerning eye so that you may enjoy your pieces with confidence.
